				In 1999, the company purchased a water purification plant at Le Meridien Hotel, a luxury resort hotel with nearly 1,000 guest rooms, over a dozen restaurants, vast swimming pools, sports facilities, and a large marina. In addition to operating the existing water facilities, Ridgewood installed an additional 500 cubic meters per day of water desalination capacity, doubling the supply of clean, potable water to the hotel.
